LO1 task 3: know how to use camera equipment to record cinematic quality footage.

 VIDEO ONE: show you can use camera equipment (p1) manipulate the manual settings (p2) - aperture, depth of field, shutter speed, frame rate, ISO. you can annotate diagrams or annotate videos. toy must show why different rates are used.

LO1 Task 1/2: types of cinematography equipment.

Equipment we have in school: mounts: Jibs -  weighted mini crane  Dolly - mount a tripod on them  tripod: video tripod  gorilla pod/ hand held steadicam - wear it, to create steady footage  sliders - mounted on dillies or tripod  fig rig - can hold something and have the camera on it and still walk around  go pro helmet  camera: canon DLSR camera  go pro - portable  360 degree camera go pro 4k cam corders  Drone lenses: macro/ fish eye lens  telephoto portraiture lens wide angle lens standard 18-55mm lens  sound attachments:  lavalier mic  shotgun mic zoom handy mic  boom poles  boom mics

 P1 - describe how to use a camera  P2 -  describe the settings for different camera types to achieve cinematic quality footage. 

What is cinematography?

 what is cinematography? the way it's filmed. and how it can create connotation  is the art of filming -  the way that we film something: shot types angles filters composition - shallow depth of field (rule of thirds)/ quadrant framing  movements  lighting: high key low key  ambient  naturalistic  3 point lighting system: front light  Light : chiaroscuro  - extreme light and dark (contrast) how have we used the concept of cinematography in the exam and coursework units so far?
